Pestemal (pesh-te-mahl) n. The traditional flat-woven towel used in the legendary Turkish bath. Famous for its absorbency and softness, it is perfectly suited for everyday use in the modern home. It is hand-loomed of a Turkish linen/cotton blend with fringe at both ends. This towel was made with care by a family of skilled weavers in Turkey.

Care Instructions Gentle laundering is best. Machine wash in warm or cold water with like colors. Tumble dry on low or line dry. Please do not use bleach, harsh detergents, dryer sheets or high heat. Turkish linen is extremely durable and becomes softer and more absorbent with use. Wash before first use.
